Daniel holds a Master of Corporate Finance and a Master of Commercial Law and was posted for major private and governmental entities in Scandinavia and overseas before he took over as CEO in Alpina Chartering in 2017. In 2022 he handed over the reins of the daily management of Alpina Chartering to his brother Kenneth. Daniel is now managing the commercial investment strategies, properties and other commercial ventures. 

Daniel has a keen interest in anything that moves on the water, being it one of his many motorboats, sailboats or Stand Up Paddling on the Fjords. He lives with his wife and 2 sons in Roskilde, just outside Copenhagen.
