May 12, 2026

Tomini Group, a leading global ship-owner and operator, has welcomed Tomini Pine into its fleet following her delivery on 22 April 2026. The 63,684 DWT Ultramax bulk carrier, built by Imabari Shipbuilding Co Ltd, will operate under a five-year time charter agreement with Daido Kaiun Co., Ltd., further reinforcing the long-standing relationship between the two companies.

The addition of Tomini Pine reflects Tomini Group’s continued focus on collaborating with established Japanese shipowners and shipyards, as part of its strategy to maintain a modern, fuel-efficient, and commercially versatile fleet across global dry bulk trades.

This latest delivery builds on an existing partnership framework with Daido Kaiun, marking the second vessel entrusted to Tomini under a similar long-term charter structure. The arrangement underscores a shared commitment to operational reliability and long-term value creation.

“We are delighted to add Tomini Pine to our fleet,” said Numair Shaikh. “Following the success of our first vessel with Daido Kaiun, this second five-year charter highlights the strength of our relationship and our shared commitment to quality, reliability, and long-term cooperation. Tomini Pine will play an important role in supporting our global trading activities and future growth.”

Designed for flexibility across a wide range of bulk cargoes, Tomini Pine combines efficient fuel performance with proven Japanese shipbuilding standards, enabling competitive and dependable operations across major trading routes.

Tomini Group extends its appreciation to Daido Kaiun Co., Ltd. and Imabari Shipbuilding Co Ltd for their continued partnership and cooperation throughout the vessel’s construction and delivery.
