Tomini Shipping hosts floating staff conference in Mumbai

Tomini Shipping hosted a floating staff conference in Mumbai for the seafarers who will take over the new buildings when they are delivered in January 2020.

The three day conference held from 3 to 5 December at the Ramada Powai in Mumbai focused on four key areas:

Crew Welfare covering mental health awareness, wellness, fitness and lifestyle management;

Success at Tomini which focused on Tomini’s purpose and core values and the importance of appraisals

Commercial Management with Dan & Jeanette from Tomini’s partners of over 40 years Alpina Chartering who flew over from Denmark.

Technical Management

A gala dinner was held on Wednesday 4 December for crew, management and esteemed guests.  The three day conference culminating with the official opening of their second crew management centre, their first crew management centre opened in Delhi in January 2019.
